Can I choose my mentor?

No, you cannot choose your mentor directly. However, during the selection interview, we’ll get to know your background and aspirations in order to match you as closely as possible with a professional in your field.

I’m in a bridging programme between BA2 and BA3. Am I eligible for the Bright Future programme ?

No, you must be fully enrolled in the third year of your bachelor’s degree to be eligible for Bright Future.

I’m finishing my master’s degree. Can I still register?

Yes, of course. Together with your mentor, you can tailor your mentoring sessions to your current needs, and they will support you in developing your job search strategy.

Am I required to attend the workshops ?

Participation in the workshops is not mandatory but highly recommended. You’ll benefit from valuable advice and knowledge shared by our experts — on topics often not covered at university.

Can I register and start the mentoring programme at any time of the year?

Yes, absolutely. Every week we meet and accept new mentees into our programme, and we continuously launch new mentoring duos.

Are there any hidden fees for the mentoring programme or for participating in workshops and events?

No, as a mentee, the entire programme and all activities are offered to you free of charge.

JOB SEEKER

This was an excellent experience that helped me tremendously. I had almost no knowledge about the Belgian job market. Thanks to this program, I not only gained that knowledge but was also able to prepare my application materials.

With my mentor, whom I thank immensely, I revised my CV. By following the roadmap we established, I realized I needed hands-on experience in a specific field since my previous education was very theoretical. I therefore redefined my priorities and redirected my job search. Ultimately, I passed the selection process for the 'Explort' program co-organized by Awex and Forem, where I'm currently working as a Junior Business Developer.
